GENERAL INFORMATION
The Taree Club conduct greyhound racing on a grass surface with a cable lure system in operation. Camping and kennelling facilities are available for visiting trainers. Kiosk and bar facilities are available for the enjoyment of on-course patrons. The track is located on Kanangra Drive, Taree.
Nominations close Wednesday prior to meeting at 9.00am
KENNELLING
Kennelling Times:
Winter (May - Aug) 11.00am to 12.00 Noon
Summer (Sept - April) 11.30am to 12.30 pm
Summer (Twilight) 2.30pm to 3.30pm
Kennels are of the one tier variety and there is a veterinary surgeon in attendance at all race meetings.
TRIALS
Public Trials -Tuesday 8.30am & Sunday 8.30am
Race Day: After the last race
Private Trials: Sunday's and Tuesday's only (Following public trials)
A best 8 will be run each meeting if nominations warrant and at the discretion of the grader. The grader may include 4th grade greyhounds in Best 8 races.
Two maiden races will be run each race meeting nominations permitting.
Dogs may be walked on racedays on the outside of the track no later than half an hour prior to kenneling, if trainer residing 100 kms outside of track. Permission required.
